Descrizione:

Leipzig is located in the northwest of the Free State of Saxony. The city and its 500,000 inhabitants became known throughout the world in the fall of 1989 as the center of the peaceful revolutionary movement in East Germany. Its being home to the second oldest university in Germany as well as serving as an important trade fair center have both had a decisive influence on the city to the present day. Around 1 million people visit Leipzig every year, enjoying the city's lively atmosphere and diverse cultural offerings.

Following fields of duties we have:

- Language evening: Preparation and process together with the responsible professionals

- Open Meeting Point:

- Assistance of the daily work

- Attendance of the children and youth

- Support of the PC-offer

- Taking part in school projects.

- Media: Assictance of preparation, process and follow-up of media projects: integrative photo-course (basics of photografy for people with and without disabilitiy), Mädchen machen Medien(Girls are working on media projects like film, photography oder internet-projects) taking part in courses of the Medienwerkstatt

- VILLAKeller: Assistance of social and cultural events like band projects, concerts, disco for children etc.

Volunteers do not have to have special skills.
We rely on the experience of the respective sending organization in the preselection process. Volunteers should be interested in our social and cultural work and have the desire to work independently. We are delighted when volunteers come to us with their own ideas or even their own projects - special skills (e.g., musical instruments), special interests (e.g., history), or other unusual hobbies (e.g. juggling) are always welcome.

ISA GmbH is a non-profit organisation for modern social and cultural projects in Leipzig. The LeISA operates the social and cultural center "Die VILLA" in the center of Leipzig. The 14 employees offer more than 30 events and projects in the field of children and youth, media, and cultural events, assisted by up to 70 volunteers, trainees and freelancers. Furthermore we are woking in the field of international voluntary service and international youth projects.

Open work for children and youth
Open meeting point for children and youths, offers for school holidays, school projects, culture projects for youth, youth-culture "Neulicht", youth theater, curses in the field of art.

Media: Photography, video cut, cmoputer animation, internet, school projects, courses in the field of media, international youth exchanges in Leipzig and abroad.

Intercultural work: Intercultural projects for children and youth, Sprachtandem-Leipzig.de, langauge evening "Soirée Polyglotte", JA:hr für Europa - international voluntary service (host- sending - coordinating organisation for EVS), flat share for volunteers.

Overview of the staff: 14 employees, 2 international volunteers, around 40 freelancers, more than 20 honorary people, 10 trainees per year.


2) Francia (Grenoble)

durata: 4 mesi da Gennaio/Febbraio 2011
Il progetto è rivolto a tutti i giovani tra i 18 e i 30 anni residenti in Italia (non è necessaria la cittadinanza italiana)

Requisiti richiesti:

Non è necessaria nessuna competenza specifica (nemmeno la conoscenza del francese) né un’esperienza pregressa nel campo di attività proposte ma sicuramente una forte motivazione a investirsi in un progetto che prevede compiti variegati e spirito d’iniziativa.

In base ai nostri principi e a quelli del programma, chiediamo al volontario che intenda candidarsi per questo progetto di:
¶ Essere convinti ad intraprendere il percorso che porta alla candidatura per un progetto, in modo da non sprecare tempo che potrebbe essere utile a seguire qualcuno più motivato

¶ Non farsi seguire da più organizzazioni di invio contemporaneamente

¶ Essere seri, sinceri e aperti alle diverse prospettive che potrebbero delinearsi

¶ Scegliere questo progetto principalmente per tematica, in base ai propri interessi piuttosto che semplicemente in base alla destinazione geografica.

¶ Cogliere l’occasione quanto prima di partecipare ad uno degli incontri generali info-formativi sul SVE organizzati dal CEMEA del Mezzogiorno

¶ Essere disponibili almeno per un incontro presso il nostro ufficio di Roma

3) ROMANIA (CRAIOVA):

Posti disponibili: 1 presso European Platform for Youth Development da febbraio 2011 per 9 mesi.

Ambito: Educazione non formale e Cittadinanza Attiva Europea.

Attività: 10 volontari saranno impegnati per l'organizzazione di attività il cui principale obiettivo è il coinvolgimento, la partecipazione attiva e la cooperazione tra Rom e giovani rumeni.
Scadenza: immediata.

4) ESTONIA (NARVA)

Posti disponibili: 1 presso VITATEAM MTÜ a Narva (Estonia) dal 20 febbraio 2011 per 10 mesi.
Ambito: Culturale- Informagiovani.

Attività: in cooperazione con lo staff i volontari impareranno a gestire scambi culturali e servizio di volontariato europeo.
Scadenza: 10 dicembre 2010.

5) FRANCIA (SAINTES)
Posti disponibili: 1 presso Mission Locale de la Saintonge/BIJ a Saintes (26.000 ab. ad un’ora da Bordeaux), Francia, da gennaio 2011 per 12 mesi.
Ambito: Sociale.
Attività: contribuirà alla realizzazione di attività quali: giochi, attività a tema, sport, attività culturali, visite, concerti, festival, ecc.

Requisiti: conoscenza, anche basilare, del francese.
Scadenza: 20 dicembre 2010.
